Nanoparticle Science and Engineering Summer Workshop

Thursday and Friday, July 17-18, 2003
402 Walter Library University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota

(Sponsored by The Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) at the University of Minnesota, The National Science Foundation, Sonderforschungbereich 445, and the Particle Society of Minnesota)

Particle Society members have an opportunity to learn about the latest research on nanoparticles and their applications during a two day symposium held at the University of Minnesota. The Workshop on Nanoparticle Science and Engineering will be held July 17 and 18 on the U of M's Minneapolis campus. The program will feature fifteen talks over the two days, presented by leading researchers from university and industrial labs. These talks will address issues in nanoparticle synthesis, characterization, and applications, as well as computer modeling of nanoparticle systems.

Particle Society members will have the option of attending either or both days of the workshop, as well as attending the Program social hours and dinner on the evening of July 17.

The schedule for this Workshop is shown below.
